No, not necessarily. I can work with you or your organisation on a specific needs basis. However, many of the services I offer are lower cost or even free with a monthly subscription. Most business coaches, workshops and training material focus on the functions of the business: sales, marketing, HR, strategy, product development and so on. Instead, my work focuses on the person: you, the worker, the business executive or the owner. This is important because I have learned in my time in business that it is not what you do that is most important, but who you are. Our behaviour, attitudes, automatic responses to challenges and concept of self and others matters most. Therefore, learning to understand ourselves and others promises more lasting results.
Coaching is directed by you, the client. My role is to facilitate, probe, challenge assumptions, and generally aid with the development of a broader perspecive of self and others.
The courses cover classic and contemporary theories but also cover the practical application of these theories through class discussion, case studies, and your personal accounts from the real world of business and work. I also try wherever possible to bring my personal business experience into lesson material.
Coaching is provided on a one-to-one basis and also to teams. Team coaching is better conducted in person, so send me an enquiry to set that up. One-to-one coaching is remotely or in person and is booked via this page. Payments are taken here on this site and processed via Stripe. Sessions are best conducted weekly.
